Submission Policy

The Kent State University Press is especially interested in scholarly works in history, including military, Civil War, U.S. diplomatic, American cultural, women's and art history; literary studies; titles of regional interest for Ohio; scholarly biographies; archaeological research; the arts; and general nonfiction. Always write a letter of inquiry before submitting manuscripts. Send letters to Will Underwood, Acquisitions. Please, no faxes, phone calls, or e-mail submissions.
